Theme parks we're hoping to/looking forward to visiting this year

Spring has just begun, and with it comes the opening of many theme parks. Here are some of the places we're either looking forward to going to, or planning to go to this year!

Chessington/Thorpe/Towers/Legoland

Thorpe Park and Chessington are our local parks, and since we have Merlin passes we go to those a few times throughout the year, plus my partner's Mum lives close to Towers, so when we visit her we like to go when we have the time (still yet to play the golf there though...one day...)

As for Legoland, while not my favourite park out there, it's a fun place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Paultons Park

We were planning to go last year, but because they were building a new ride we decided to wait until this year instead! We've only been there once and we had a great time, so really looking forward to visiting again.

Flamingo Land Resort

It's been years since we visited there, so it's just somewhere that we'd like to visit this year if possible!

Drayton Manor

Like Flamingo Land, it's been ages since we visited there. Because my partner and I have Merlin passes, if we're up that way and have a choice of a park that we have to pay for, or one we can get in basically for free, we pick the latter. It's probably been fifteen years or so since we last visited though, so I think it's about time we did again!

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

I really like Blackpool Pleasure Beach, plus there's some attractions by there that are included on the Merlin passes, so hoping we'll be able to have mini weekend there at some point this year.

Parc Asterix

I'm not exaggerating when I say I've been wanting to go to this park for around thirty years. Ever since I discovered it existed while heading to Disneyland Paris with my parents it's been my mission to visit, and finally, FINALLY this year thanks to my partner, my dream is finally coming true as he's treating us to a trip there for my Birthday!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Walabi Holland/Plopsaland Belgium

These are currently maybe parks that my partner suggested we visit on the way to Parc Asterix. While I really want to visit then, I'm currently debating whether to do them as a separate holiday, just so all my money can go on Parc Asterix rather than stretching my merch buying budget over three parks. My Birthday is fast approaching soo I gotta decide soon...

Europa-Park

This is where we're planning to head to for my partner's Birthday later this year! While we've only been the once it's been one of his favourite parks ever since, so we're excited to go again (and we're hopefully bringing some friends and family along for the ride!)

So those are the main places we're visiting/hoping to visit this year. There's lots of other places we'd like to go to like Lightwater Valley, Dreamland Margate, and the like, but those above are the main ones, with the hopes we can visit others if possible...
